Avocado
The Hass avocado is one of the most highly sought avocados around the world. They have a rich and creamy texture, nutty flavor, ripens evenly, and peels easily. Avocados contain vitamins and minerals including vitamin E, vitamin C, folic acid, and potassium. In addition, they are rich in dietary fiber and a good source of monounsaturated fat.
Macadamia Nuts
Macadamia nuts are rich in nutrients and healthy monounsaturated fats.  These exotic nuts have a rich, buttery flavor. Roasting draws out their subtle sweetness and creamy texture.  They are a favorite as a snack or dessert menus.
Purple Tea & Orthodox Tea
Purple tea is a new type of tea produced from the leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant.  Purple tea is similar to black, green, and oolong tea but lower in caffeine. It has both black and green flavor characteristics. It tastes very much like green tea with no-astringency or bitterness. Orthodox tea has a multilayer flavor profile. These teas are bright and brisk produced with traditional methods.
Herbs
We grow a mix of Chives, Basil, Thai Basil, Tarragon, Parsley, Thyme, Lemon Thyme, Oregano, Rosemary and Chervil.  These are some of the most important culinary herbs adding flavor to every dish.
Cilantro
Has glossy parsley-like foliage that at times makes it hard to tell the difference between parsley and cilantro at the produce market. All you need to do is smell the light pungent aroma, and you’ll know the difference. Cilantro leaves are used in African, Middle Eastern and Asian cuisine.
Pinto Beans
Quincy Pinto Beans - Large, medium-to late-maturing beans with a delicious creamy flavor.  They are more heat tolerant and much less prone to being blown over than broad Windsor.  The stringless pods have a wonderful texture. Steamed, these beans have a beautiful deep brown color.

SOLAR POWERED AGRICULTURE

Our Solar Energy 2 Agriculture (SE2A) project approach is to provide Agriculture electricity for irrigation systems, equipment to process crops, preserve and package food, and refrigeration for cold storage.

Whatever your project size, Shamba Greens is committed to enabling the most sustainable solution. We can help align requirements to outcomes and define the right technologies for the project. Our solutions are developed with a plan for economies of scale and a focus on implementing industry standards and best practices. Community stabilization through sustainable energy access is our company’s mission and our passion.  Our team and partners design and develop Shamba Green’s food and energy photovoltaic agriculture; and, green houses.  Our goal is to have an excellent output in food production and energy production and generation.

At every step, community outreach is essential to create lasting institutional structures that will protect the long-term viability of the program.  We believe in providing power as a platform to enable institutions and unlock local resources that promote sustainable, flourishing communities.

We provide solutions as above, a 100kW microgrid: a modular system that integrates power generation, storage, and distribution into a self-contained package. The solution includes a 100kW microgrid, 60kW of Solar PV panels, and 600kWh of advanced energy storage.

Reliable electricity is critical to expanding agricultural production. Shamba Greens power systems reduce the costs and challenges of powering agricultural operations beyond the grid.

Upto 50 jobs can be created among the local communities per MWp installed, for shift work, cultivation, maintenance, harvesting, marketing and bookkeeping
